President Droupadi Murmu highlighted the urgency of fostering peace and unity in a world facing unrest during her address at a global summit hosted by the Brahma Kumaris in Mount Abu.

She called for collective action against climate change, stressing that humanity must act as trustees of the earth rather than its owners. Murmu urged people to plant saplings to combat environmental degradation, emphasizing that spiritual awareness can lead to both personal and societal transformation.

Spirituality, according to Murmu, is key to attaining balance, advising that purity of mind, words, and actions can lead to a peaceful and healthy society. Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagade was among those present at the event.
