Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday began a three-day visit to Tirumala as part of his 11-day penance to seek divine intervention over the alleged adulteration of Tirupati laddus.

Kalyan, currently taking the Alipiri Srivari Padala steps route to the temple, emphasized the importance of protecting Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism) and viewed the penance as a necessity of the day.

The actor-politician cited continuous temple desecrations under the previous YSRCP regime and stated his commitment to unveiling a roadmap to address such issues. He plans to return to Vijayawada on Thursday evening.
