In a fiery address on Tuesday, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of obsessive opposition toward Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Chouhan claimed Gandhi's persistent lying stems from his irrational dislike of Modi, stating, 'His birth must have happened when all the liars on the earth died.'
During a rally in Bahadurgarh, Chouhan further criticized Gandhi, remarking, 'Rahul Gandhi has gone mad in 'Modi-virodh' and keeps lying. His birth must have happened when all the liars on the earth died. He is not even ashamed.' Shifting focus, he condemned Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge for his previous remarks during a Kathua rally, affirming that the BJP wishes Kharge lives a thousand years despite his harsh rhetoric.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing a rally in Haryana's Palwal, revived the 'urban naxal' accusation against Congress, criticizing their pledge to restore Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir while not addressing the reclaiming of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). Modi accused Congress of being against the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and failing to fully implement the Constitution in Jammu and Kashmir. With Haryana's state legislative assembly elections scheduled for October 5, Modi urged voters to prioritize the safety of daughters, employment, and infrastructure. The BJP is poised to contest vigorously, having emerged as the single largest party in the 2019 elections.
