In a groundbreaking initiative, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, witnessed the inauguration of India's first modern gaushala equipped with a bio CNG plant. The plant, established with the collaboration of Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), is capable of producing three tonnes of CNG daily from 100 tonnes of cow dung.

The project, valued at Rs 32 crore, aims to realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of converting 'Waste to Wealth.' It also aligns with the state's commitment to support and sustain cow shelters. The facility will generate 20 tonnes of high-quality organic manure daily, bolstering income and promoting organic farming among local farmers.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for his visionary approach and thanked local communities for their support. The initiative not only promises to economically sustain the gaushala but also aims to serve as a model for future projects, promoting sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural practices.
