Malabar Group, a notable diversified Indian business conglomerate and the parent company of Malabar Gold & Diamonds, has officially launched its National Scholarship Programme for 2024. The event was held at the Bharat Diamond Bourse in Mumbai.

This significant announcement was part of the Group's flagship CSR initiative, underscoring its dedication to supporting girls' education. Shri Piyush Goyal, Honourable Minister of Commerce & Industry, inaugurated the event, with the Group's senior leadership present, including MP Ahammed (Chairman), Asher O (Managing Director, India Operations), Abdul Salam K P (Vice-Chairman), Nishad AK (Executive Director), and Shaunak Parikh (Director, Mahendra Brothers).

The scholarship programme has allocated Rs. 16 crore to aid over 21,000 girl students across India. MP Ahammed remarked, 'Education is the most powerful tool to change the world.' The Group's CSR efforts extend beyond education, encompassing environmental sustainability, poverty alleviation, and healthcare, contributing to inclusive growth and social well-being.
