The controversy surrounding the alleged adulteration of Tirupati laddus continues to escalate, with Senior YSRCP leader Ambati Rambabu condemning the SIT probe ordered by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Rambabu insists on a Supreme Court monitored investigation.

On Sunday, Naidu commissioned a Special Investigation Team (SIT) led by an inspector general (IG) or higher rank officer to probe the allegations of animal fat mixing in the renowned laddus. However, YSRCP leaders argue this step is insufficient.

Former TTD chairman Y V Subba Reddy, represented by P Sudhakar Reddy, advocates for an independent investigation, rejecting any inquiry under Naidu's influence. As the political fallout intensifies, accusations regarding motives and past actions of political leaders add to the tension.
