The women's team delivered a commanding 3.5-0.5 victory against Azerbaijan to secure their title. This double victory marks a significant milestone for Indian chess history. The men's team had previously won two bronze medals in 2014 and 2022, while the women claimed a bronze in 2022 in Chennai.
