Horrific Incident on Bus: Woman Allegedly Raped by Helper en Route to Andhra Pradesh

A gruesome incident unfolded recently when a woman passenger was allegedly raped by a bus helper while traveling to Andhra Pradesh, police disclosed on Sunday.

The crime took place on the night of September 18, soon after the woman boarded the bus at Kukatpally, according to police sources.

Investigations revealed that the helper directed the woman to a rear seat under false pretenses before gagging and raping her. The perpetrator threatened the victim against reporting the incident, but she lodged a complaint on September 21 at the Chotuppal police station. A 'zero FIR' was filed, and the case was subsequently transferred to Kukatpally police station for re-registration. Following intense investigation, the accused was taken into custody, officials confirmed.
