Oasis's debut album 'Definitely, Maybe' surged back to the top of the UK charts on Friday, 30 years after its initial release. The resurgence followed the announcement of the band's reunion concerts next year and the release of a 30th anniversary deluxe edition.

The Official Charts Company reported a 408% week-on-week increase in sales, with the album topping both overall and vinyl charts. Oasis also claimed the No. 3 and 4 spots with 'Time Flies… (1994-2009)' and '(What's The Story) Morning Glory?'

Amid the excitement, thousands of fans faced inflated ticket prices for the summer shows in Britain and Ireland due to 'dynamic pricing,' leading to an investigation into Ticketmaster by Britain's competition watchdog. The controversy was a hot topic at the Mercury Prize music awards in London, with artists voicing their displeasure.
