Uzbekistan Airways Launches Direct Flights from Tashkent to Goa

Uzbekistan Airways on Friday announced the commencement of direct flights from Tashkent to Goa starting October 27.

The twice-weekly flights will operate between Uzbekistan's capital, Tashkent, and Manohar International Airport (Mopa) in North Goa using an Airbus A320 aircraft.

This new route aims to strengthen tourism and cultural exchange between Uzbekistan and Goa. The initiative follows persistent efforts by the Uzbekistan Embassy, Indian Embassy in Tashkent, and local tour operators. The Goa Department of Tourism also played a pivotal role, aligning the new route with the state's strategy to diversify its tourist base and promote Goa as a year-round destination.
