On Wednesday, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla extended warm New Year greetings and highlighted Kota's potential as a leader in education. Speaking to the media, the Bundi MP strongly urged parents to enroll their children in Kota, assuring a rich cultural and educational environment.
Despite some misunderstandings that may have previously marred its image, Birla affirmed Kota's safety and hospitality, treating students as the city's own children. He emphasized the idea of a 'New Year with new commitment, new resolution, and new ideas,' focusing on collective efforts for national progress. Birla also urged for joint community efforts to maintain cleanliness across urban and rural settings.
Additionally, Birla unveiled plans to bolster tourism in the Hadoti region, with improved road and rail connectivity. The relocation of five tigers to nearby reserves is also in motion to boost wildlife tourism. Furthermore, a new airport project is progressing, promising enhanced air connectivity for Kota.
