ASCI Appoints Partha Sinha as Chairman and Sudhanshu Vats as Vice-Chairman

The Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) has appointed Partha Sinha as the new Chairman and Sudhanshu Vats as Vice-Chairman. Additionally, S Subramanyeswar from Lintas has been named Treasurer. The appointments were made during ASCI's Annual General Meeting. Sinha and Vats bring extensive industry experience to their new roles.

The Advertising Standards Council of India (ASCI) announced significant leadership changes on Wednesday. Partha Sinha has been appointed as the new Chairman, and Sudhanshu Vats will serve as Vice-Chairman.

Additionally, S Subramanyeswar, Group CEO & Chief Strategy Officer-APAC at Lintas, has been named the Treasurer. These appointments were formalized in ASCI's Annual General Meeting held on Wednesday.

Partha Sinha, who is currently the President & Chief Brand Officer at Bennett Coleman & Company, boasts a rich history working with organizations such as Ogilvy, Publicis, and Citibank. Vats holds the position of Deputy Managing Director at Pidilite Industries. Sinha remarked that his new role carries significant responsibility, especially in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

The outgoing Chairman, Saugata Gupta, highlighted the significant developments during his tenure, including the creation of the ASCI Academy, instrumental in promoting responsible advertising practices.
