McDonald's India, in collaboration with the premier food technology research institute CSIR-CFTRI, is set to offer burgers featuring multi-millet buns. This move aims to enrich the nutritional quality of their food offerings.
The multi-millet buns, containing Bajra, Ragi, Jowar, Proso, and Kodo millets, will be available in 400 outlets operated by Westlife Foodworld in the West and South regions of India.
McDonald's India Executive Director Akshay Jatia highlighted that this initiative represents a leading step in the QSR industry for nutritious offerings, benefiting customers significantly in the long run.
