William Michael Reynolds, a 36-year-old U.S. citizen, was found dead in a five-star hotel room in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on Monday, according to police officials.

The local police have stated there were no signs of struggle at the scene. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Dandotia confirmed that a post-mortem report is pending to determine the cause of death.

Reynolds, who was a resident of Chicago, had been staying at the hotel since August 30 and was scheduled to check out on Monday. He was traveling on a tourist visa. Authorities suspect he died of a heart attack.
