Issuance of inner line permits for Adi Kailash and Om Parvat pilgrims has been delayed due to adverse weather. The permits, suspended during the monsoon, were to resume from September 1. The tour is expected to restart after September 20 once weather conditions improve. Over 2000 bookings have been received for the second phase, with an expected 10,000 visitors.

Adverse weather conditions have delayed the issuance of inner line permits for pilgrims heading to Adi Kailash peak and Om Parvat, officials confirmed.
The suspension, initially set during the monsoon, was expected to end on September 1. However, passes will only be issued after the weather clears, stated Dharchula SDM Manjit Singh.
Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam, responsible for organizing the yatra, plans to resume pilgrimages from September 29, contingent on improved weather. The pilgrimage had previously been halted on July 2 due to heavy monsoon rains.
