Milad-un-Nabi Procession Rescheduled to September 19 in Telangana
The representatives of the Milad-un-Nabi committee agreed to hold the processions on September 19, following a request from the Telangana government. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy convened a meeting to discuss its postponement due to Ganesh idol immersions. The Milad committee concurred, confirming the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad will be observed on September 19.

The representatives of the Milad-un-Nabi committee on Thursday consented to organize the processions on September 19 after a request by the Telangana government.
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy held a meeting Thursday night to discuss the arrangements for the Milad-un-Nabi procession and the immersion of Ganesh idols on September 17, according to an official statement. The chief minister suggested the Milad committee members consider postponing the Milad-un-Nabi procession.
State ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and D Sridhar Babu, AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi, and the Milad committee members discussed and responded positively to the government's request to defer the procession. The Milad-un-Nabi Committee confirmed that the 1499th birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad will take place on September 19.
