Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria, BJP's Punjab chief Sunil Jakhar, and the Congress' state president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring, among other leaders, paid tribute to former Chief Minister Beant Singh on his 29th death anniversary.

Beant Singh, who was assassinated in 1995, served as the Chief Minister of Punjab. Union minister Ravneet Singh Bittu also paid homage, highlighting his grandfather's lifelong dedication to the welfare of Punjab's people.

In a statement, Bittu reaffirmed the commitment to Beant Singh's vision for a prosperous and secure Punjab. The remembrance meet was organized at Beant Singh's samadhi sthal in Chandigarh, where heartfelt tributes were offered.
