Tragic End After Police Exam Failure: Youth Commits Suicide

A 24-year-old man allegedly ended his life after failing to perform well in the Police Constable Recruitment Exam, police reported on Sunday.
Yogesh Kumar, a resident of Saidpur Manjha village in Fatehganj East, hanged himself late Saturday night, confirmed Faridpur Police Circle Officer (CO) Gaurav Singh.
No suicide note was found at the scene where Kumar's body was discovered in his rented room. His father, Ajaypal Yadav, informed police that Kumar had been preparing for the exam for the past five years. Police noted that Kumar took the exam in Rampur district on Friday, and his performance was disappointing. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination as investigations continue, the CO stated.
