Indian-American Mini Timmaraju, the president and CEO of a reproductive rights advocacy group, on Wednesday called on U.S. voters to elect Vice President Kamala Harris as the next president to safeguard women's rights. She highlighted the threat posed by her rival, Donald Trump.

Speaking on the third day of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Timmaraju said, "When abortion is on the ballot, we win." She pointed to various states like California, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Montana, Ohio, and Vermont where voters have supported reproductive rights.

"It seems like every day, another state gets added to that list," said Timmaraju, referencing recent announcements by Arizona and Montana. She emphasized that voters who support reproductive freedom are the majority. "Trump and his running mate JD Vance should understand that Americans' private lives are nobody's business," she added, urging people to "Google Project 2025" to understand Trump's plan.

Timmaraju also highlighted Kamala Harris's commitment to restoring reproductive freedom and criticized Trump for his stance against fertility treatments and women's rights. "This election will decide America's future. So let's elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz!" she concluded.
