Zoe Kravitz's directorial debut 'Blink Twice' delves into the power dynamics between men and women, inspired by her own experiences. The film, a psychological thriller, portrays Naomi Ackie as waitress Frida, who is invited to a tech billionaire's private island, played by Channing Tatum.

Initially a dream vacation, the trip quickly turns unsettling as Frida uncovers disturbing truths. The film mirrors women's everyday complexities and absurdities, according to Kravitz, 35. Speaking at the London premiere, she highlighted the normalized challenges women face that often go unspoken.

The movie also features Adria Arjona, Christian Slater, Geena Davis, Kyle MacLachlan, and Haley Joel Osment. 'Blink Twice' hits cinemas globally on Aug. 21.
