A mall visitor identified as Avinash shared his experience via social media platform X, stating he was asked to leave while watching a movie. He further posted an image of a bomb disposal squad vehicle, questioning the nature of the drill.

By 1:35 pm, a statement from DLF Mall confirmed the drill's conclusion, reiterating the mall's commitment to high security standards and announcing its reopening. Similar bomb scares recently hit several Delhi NCR schools but were later deemed hoaxes.
