Stree 2: Advance Booking Now Open

The advance booking for 'Stree 2', directed by Amar Kaushik and starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, is now open. Scheduled for release on August 14, 2024, the film will feature night shows from 9:30 pm. It will clash with movies like Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' and John Abraham's 'Vedaa'.

The advance booking for 'Stree 2', starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, is officially open, the makers announced on Saturday. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film, a sequel to the 2018 hit 'Stree', is set to release in theatres on August 14, 2024, with night shows beginning at 9:30 pm, according to Maddock Films' social media pages.

At the box office, 'Stree 2' will compete with several high-profile releases, including Akshay Kumar's 'Khel Khel Mein' and John Abraham's 'Vedaa'. Other notable films slated for release on Independence Day include Tamil superstar Vikram's 'Thangalaan' and Puri Jagannadh's 'Double iSmart', featuring Telugu star Ram Pothineni and Sanjay Dutt.

Returning to reprise their roles are Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana. The original 'Stree', also directed by Kaushik, was set in a small town in Madhya Pradesh and based on the urban legend of 'Nale Ba'. 'Stree 2' is produced by Dinesh Vijan through Maddock Films and Jio Studios' Jyoti Deshpande. The 'Stree' films are part of Maddock's horror-comedy universe, which also includes Varun Dhawan's 'Bhediya' and the recently released 'Munjya'.
