The Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga hosted a lecture focusing on the critical role of diet in yoga. Vaidya Kamlesh Kumar Sharma from the National Institute of Ayurveda in Jaipur emphasized that nutrition nourishes both the five elements and the conscious-unconscious mind, advocating for mindful eating practices.
MDNIY Director Dr. Kashinath Samagandi highlighted the need to consume food at the right time in proper quantities, noting that ayurvedic principles suggest eating twice daily. Dr. Arpit Kumar Dubey added that balanced eating is essential for achieving the ultimate goals of yoga.
