Uttar Pradesh Celebrates Historic Kakori Train Action

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to attend a commemorative event in Kakori. The 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, which encourages citizens to hoist the Tricolour at their homes, will also run until Independence Day in honour of the martyrs.

Adityanath reviewed the preparation for the celebrations, emphasizing the Kakori action as an immortal chapter in India's freedom struggle. As the 100th anniversary of this event approaches in 2025, he noted that it is an opportune moment to express gratitude towards the nation's immortal heroes. The Chief Minister suggested that a painting competition focusing on local or regional freedom fighters be organized as part of the commemorations.
