Bengali Film Directors Strike in Solidarity Amid Technicians' Protest

Bengali film directors have announced an indefinite strike starting Monday in solidarity with filmmaker Rahool Mukherjee, amid technicians' refusal to work under him.

On Sunday night, the Directors Association of Eastern India declared their support, halting all shooting schedules until the directors' concerns are amicably resolved.

Rahool Mukherjee, previously given approval by the Directors Guild to work as a creative producer, faced a boycott from technicians refusing to accept him as director, leading to the cancellation of a shoot on July 27.
