Directed by Anand Tiwari, known for 'Bandish Bandit' and 'Love Per Square Feet,' and produced by Amritpal Singh Bindra, Apoorva Mehta, and Karan Johar, the film is witnessing strong box office performance despite receiving middling reviews.

The movie's success is further detailed with per-day earnings, starting with Rs 8.62 crore on the opening day, Rs 10.55 crore on the following Saturday, Rs 11.45 crore on Sunday, and Rs 3.75 crore on its fourth day. Featuring Neha Dhupia in a pivotal role and cameos by Ananya Panday and Neha Sharma, 'Bad Newz' tells the intriguing story of a woman (Dimri) pregnant with twins from two different men (Kaushal and Virk).
