Despite initially being dismissed by a DJ for requesting a Kannada song, Shetty's '3 Pegs' went on to garner over 157 million views on YouTube.

He emphasized the importance of recognizing the creators behind popular songs. Shetty's decision to pursue a career as an independent musician singing in Kannada, despite early failures, eventually paid off with hits like 'Halagode' in 2015.

As Shetty ventures into acting, he aims to bring originality to the Kannada film industry, which he believes needs to reinvent itself to stay competitive. Confident in his debut film's appeal to Gen Z, Shetty remains undeterred by potential setbacks. 'I know that hard work always finds acceptance,' he said.
