Directed by Lee Isaac Chung, 'Twisters' serves as a sequel to the 1996 hit 'Twister.' Powell stars as Tyler Owens, a storm-chasing YouTube influencer. The film, which also features Edgar-Jones and Ramos, has garnered positive early reviews and is set for a July 18 release.

Powell notes that 'Twisters' is more than a disaster film; it explores human complexities faced with intense danger. 'It's about understanding who we are,' he said.
