The Spreading Happiness InDiya Foundation (SHIF), a partnership between cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and Schneider Electric, has reached a significant milestone with its SMITA program. Aimed at digitizing rural education, the initiative has positively impacted 60,000 students across 300 schools.

The program, celebrating World Literacy Day, has pledged to revitalize 500 rural government schools by 2025, touching the lives of 100,000 young learners. With a focus on sustainability, the classrooms are powered by solar energy and feature advanced digital infrastructure.

Sachin Tendulkar emphasized the program's goal of bridging the digital gap while promoting environmental conservation. Schneider Electric's Deepak Sharma highlighted the importance of education and energy access as fundamental human rights. The initiative also nurtures 'Green Ambassadors' to foster eco-conscious choices among students.
