IIHM and Courtyard by Marriott Siliguri Partner for Enhanced Hospitality Education
The International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) and Courtyard by Marriott Siliguri have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly enhance hospitality education. This collaboration offers IIHM students mentorship, career guidance, and preferential placement opportunities at Marriott hotels, aiming to cultivate future leaders in the hospitality industry.
In a significant move to enhance hospitality education, the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) and Courtyard by Marriott Siliguri signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on August 31, 2024. The partnership aims to provide IIHM students with valuable industry training and career opportunities.
Under the MoU, Courtyard by Marriott Siliguri will offer mentorship, career guidance, and project assistance to IIHM students. Graduates will have preferential access to internships and placements at Marriott hotels across India, thus bridging the gap between academia and industry.
Dr. Suborno Bose, Founder and Chairman of IIHM, expressed optimism about the collaboration, noting its potential to cultivate real talent. Mr. Sanjeev Agarwal, General Manager of Courtyard by Marriott Siliguri, highlighted the importance of nurturing future leaders in the growing hospitality sector.
