At least six students of Srijit Primary School were injured during a violent clash over land encroachment in Jharkhand's Hazaribag district, police reported on Saturday.
The altercation erupted at Srijit Primary School in Konharkola panchayat within the Barkatha police station jurisdiction.
Students allege that a local resident, Israil Miyan, constructed a wall blocking the school's entry, sparking the confrontation. As students demanded the wall's removal, Miyan's supporters allegedly attacked them with stones, escalating the conflict.
Six injured students were taken to Barhi sub-divisional hospital for treatment. Authorities have commenced an investigation into the incident.
