As Delhi readies for the India International Trade Fair, police have issued a detailed traffic advisory. The event, held at Pragati Maidan from November 14 to 27, is set to draw around 60,000 visitors daily with numbers expected to swell to 150,000 during weekends and holidays.
The advisory warns of congestion on Mathura Road, Bhairon Marg, and nearby roads. Attendees can enter through specific gates, while different entry rules apply for media and exhibitors. Tickets won't be sold on-site but are available online and at designated metro stations.
To maintain smooth traffic flow, parking will be restricted in several areas. Public transport is encouraged, with modified routes and parking spots indicated. Violating parking rules will result in fines, and errant vehicles will be relocated to the National Stadium's parking facility.
