Gujarat-based Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd has built a bespoke e-three-wheeler, fulfilling a USD-1.29 billion order from Philippines-based Beulah International Development Corporation. The electric three-wheeler, intended for public transport in the Philippines, has been shipped out for rigorous testing, according to the firm.
Wardwizard plans to dispatch more electric vehicles from its range to the Philippines by next February, conducting additional tests to check their suitability for local conditions. Such initiatives align with the company's commitment to assisting the Philippine government's Public Utility Vehicle Modernization Program (PUVMP), which aims at replacing outdated vehicles with modern electric alternatives.
The collaboration with Beulah is viewed as an opportunity to elevate the electric mobility landscape in the Philippines, noted Wardwizard's Chairman and Managing Director Yatin Gupte. India is cementing its position as a global leader in the electric mobility ecosystem, with the strategic partnership poised to transform public transportation in the Philippines.
