Union Minister Piyush Goyal, on a diplomatic mission to Saudi Arabia, inaugurated the 'One District One Product' (ODOP) Wall at the Indian Embassy in Riyadh. This initiative aims to showcase Indian craftsmanship on a global stage, transforming districts across India into production hubs under the 'Made in India' banner.
By collaborating with international retail chains, ODOP seeks not only to enhance the global visibility of Indian goods but also to generate long-term livelihoods for artisans. In a significant move to further India-Saudi economic ties, Goyal met with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India chapter, urging them to strengthen bilateral relations through best practices.
The visit coincided with Diwali celebrations and the closing ceremony of Pravasi Parichay, an initiative reconnecting the Indian diaspora with their roots.
