Steel pipe manufacturer JTL Industries Ltd has announced a significant increase in its manufacturing capacity, reaching 2 lakh tonnes per annum as part of a major Rs 350-crore expansion plan, according to an exchange filing.
With this expansion, the company's cumulative pipe manufacturing capacity has grown to 6.86 lakh tonnes per annum. This move is part of JTL's larger strategy to enhance its production capabilities across its facilities.
JTL Industries, a key player in the electric resistance welded steel pipe market in India, aims to further augment its capacity to 10 lakh tonnes by the financial year 2026-27. It operates facilities in Raipur, Malegaon, and Mandi and Derahbasi in Punjab.
