The firm's stock closed at Rs 2,967.65 on BSE after reaching a peak of Rs 2,998 earlier, reflecting a jump of 5.50% during the day's trading.
The staggering profit growth was attributed to robust earnings in airports and new energy sectors, which outweighed challenges from its coal trading division.
