In a tragic event early Sunday, two trucks collided on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, resulting in the deaths of three individuals standing by the road. Another person sustained serious injuries, officials reported.
The victims were identified as Nanhe, aged 35, and Raja, aged 37, both from Hapur, along with Aqeel, aged 39, from Ghaziabad. The collision occurred around 5 a.m. near Lahchaura village, confirmed Preeta, the Khekra Circle Officer.
Authorities are proceeding with legal action following the incident, with reports attributing the cause to driver negligence. The victims' bodies have been sent for post-mortem, and investigations continue.
