Hero MotoCorp Posts 19% YoY Increase in September Sales

Hero MotoCorp reported a 19% year-on-year increase in wholesales for September, selling 6,37,050 units. Domestic sales rose to 6,16,706 units, while exports increased to 20,344 units. The company is optimistic about the festive season, bolstered by strong bookings and favorable market sentiment.

Hero MotoCorp on Tuesday announced a significant 19% year-on-year rise in its September wholesales, totaling 6,37,050 units.

In the same month last year, the two-wheeler giant had dispatched 5,36,499 units to dealers. Domestic sales for September jumped to 6,16,706 units from last year's 5,19,789 units.

Exports also saw an uptick, rising to 20,344 units from 16,710 units the previous September. 'A positive sentiment is prevalent in the industry as it approaches the festive season on the back of a good monsoon,' the company said in a statement.

Hero MotoCorp is preparing various customer offers across its wide portfolio, aligning with past festive periods. The company noted strong bookings and increased customer footfall, anticipating robust growth during the 32-day festive period starting October 3.
