A tragic incident unfolded on Tuesday in Thailand when a school bus transporting 44 students and teachers caught fire on the outskirts of Bangkok, leading to the hospitalization of at least 16 individuals, according to government reports. Firefighters later extinguished the blaze. A Reuters photographer at the scene observed fire trucks, police, and rescue vehicles surrounding the charred bus. Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra revealed that the students were part of a field trip from Uthai Thani province, located approximately 250 km north of Bangkok. On social media platform X, she offered her heartfelt condolences to the affected families.
