Bajaj Auto's Sales Surge: Two-Wheelers Lead September 2024 Gains

Bajaj Auto reported a 28% YoY rise in domestic two-wheeler sales for September 2024. With a 13% boost in exports, total two-wheeler sales grew by 22%. The company's commercial vehicle segment also saw a 6% rise in overall sales, underlining its strong market presence.

Bajaj Auto has registered a notable increase in two-wheeler sales for September 2024, with domestic sales climbing 28 per cent year-on-year (YoY). The company sold 2,59,333 units domestically in September 2024, up from 2,02,510 units during the same month last year.

Aside from strong domestic growth, Bajaj Auto saw a 13 per cent YoY surge in two-wheeler exports, further accelerating the company's sales momentum. Total sales combining domestic and export markets increased by 22 per cent, reaching 4,00,489 units, a significant rise from 3,27,712 units in September of the previous year.

Bajaj's commercial vehicle business also posted positive growth, with a 6 per cent increase in overall sales. The company sold 69,042 commercial vehicles in September 2024, compared to 64,846 units in the same period last year. While domestic commercial vehicle sales grew modestly by 4 per cent YoY, Bajaj's overall performance indicates robust market presence and an ability to meet both domestic and international demand.
