The International Youth Development Fund (IYDF) and Sevendays Advertising hosted a heartwarming event at Santhwanam Centre School in Palakkad, Kerala, on September 11. The initiative aimed to support underprivileged children by supplying essential items and facilitating engaging activities.
The event, which started at 2:00 PM, saw participation from 30 children. Alongside receiving critical supplies, the young attendees engaged in various entertaining and educational activities. Organizer Anwar A acknowledged the invaluable contributions of volunteers Ashid, Sadik, Arshad, and Nisar, who ensured the event's smooth execution.
The children received food supplies such as rice and cooking oil, personal hygiene products, and educational materials like backpacks and notebooks. Sports equipment and small treats further added joy to the day. Activities included a singing competition, a drawing contest, and a musical chairs game, all aimed at fostering creativity and social interaction.
Volunteers also educated the children about the mission of IYDF, emphasizing the importance of humanitarian efforts. Reflecting on the event, Anwar A highlighted the fulfillment of bringing happiness to children's lives and expressed hope that such initiatives would continue to empower those in need.
IYDF remains dedicated to providing quality education to impoverished children in developing nations through comprehensive programs delivered via schools, community centers, and mobile learning units.
