Four Arrested in Fake Company Scam Targeting Businessman

In a significant bust, four individuals have been arrested for allegedly defrauding a businessman by promising to list his products in national and international markets for better sales, police reported on Monday.
The suspects, identified as Kuldeep Joshi (29), Deepak Joshi (25), Adarsh (24), and Jamshed Ansari (24), were found operating under the guise of fake companies named 'Web E-Bharat Digital Media' and 'Bhartiya Exporters'. According to police records, the businessman was swindled out of Rs 10.94 lakh.
An investigation revealed that the accused had set up a fake call center. During interrogation, it was discovered that the person impersonating an international buyer was Deepak Joshi, a sibling of Kuldeep Joshi. All provided documentation was found to be fake and forged, according to police officials.
