Sections of roads in both Janakpuri and Karol Bagh have caved in, leading to major traffic disruptions, the Delhi Police reported on Saturday. Law enforcement shared traffic updates through a series of posts on X.

The first incident occurred on Joginder Singh Marg near District Centre, Janakpuri, restricting traffic movement from this point towards Lal Sain Mandir Marg. Commuters heading in that direction are advised to take an alternate route via Major Deepak Tyagi Marg at the Dhauli Piao intersection.

Another road cave-in was reported on Arya Samaj Road in Karol Bagh Market, affecting traffic between the Bagga Link roundabout and Saraswati Chowk. Barricades have been placed to prevent accidents, and the Public Works Department is looking into a potential water leakage issue as the cause. Traffic has also been affected near Old Delhi Railway Station due to civic work, with diversions in place.
