Delhi Police's Special Cell has successfully dismantled an inter-state arms supply racket, apprehending three individuals, one of whom is a BTech graduate employed by a multinational firm. This significant operation has shone a light on the illegal arms trade network stretching across several states, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.

Among the recovered items were five semi-automatic pistols and 275 live cartridges, which highlight the seriousness of the illegal trade. Arrests were made following crucial leads, starting with Rajesh Choube, caught near Sector-18 Metro Station in Rohini while attempting to deliver a large consignment of firearms.

Subsequent investigations led to the capture of Aviral Sharma in Agra and Jitender Singh in Rajasthan's Dholpur, exposing a network where Sharma, using his corporate position, sourced arms primarily from Burhanpur in Madhya Pradesh. The case also revealed Choube's lengthy criminal history in arms-related offenses and Singh's evolution into an arms dealer after violent crimes.
