Union Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Rajiv Ranjan Singh is set to lead a key stakeholder consultation meeting on Friday in Vishakapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The meeting aims to bolster India's fisheries export by fostering dialogue among various stakeholders such as fish farmers, industry leaders, and policymakers, as per an official statement.

The event will also see participation from Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying George Kurian, along with senior officers. This high-level consultation is expected to drive innovation, sustainability, and value addition within the seafood sector.

The primary goal of the initiative is to enhance India's global position in the seafood market and ensure inclusive growth for fish farmers and coastal communities.
