Cathay Pacific's A350 Fleet to Return to Service After Repairs

Cathay Pacific Airways announced that its entire Airbus A350 fleet would be operational by Saturday, following essential engine fuel line repairs. This development comes after Cathay identified that 15 aircraft required fixes following an engine component failure during a flight earlier this week.

Various airlines, including Qatar Airways and Japan Airlines, are carefully monitoring the situation, with some conducting their inspections. The engine malfunction led Cathay to cancel 45 flights across regional Asian routes this week.

According to Cathay's Chief Operations and Service Delivery Officer, Alex McGowan, this incident was unprecedented for the A350 models. Meanwhile, Rolls-Royce has not mandated any fleet-wide inspections, although numerous carriers are liaising with the manufacturer.
