Tragic Tractor-Trolley Accident Claims Four Lives in Madhya Pradesh
In Madhya Pradesh's Damoh district, a tragic accident involving a tractor-trolley claimed the lives of four people, including two women and a child. At least four persons, including two women and a 10-year-old boy, lost their lives and more than 20 others were injured when a tractor-trolley overturned in Madhya Pradesh's Damoh district, authorities reported on Monday.
The accident took place between Sunday night and Monday morning near Fatehpur village, under the jurisdiction of Batiyagarh police station, according to Superintendent of Police Shrutkirti Somvanshi.
The overloaded tractor-trolley, carrying residents of Ghughas village to Jatashankar in Chhatarpur district, toppled, resulting in the fatal incident. The deceased were identified as Chhoti Bai (45), Ganjli Bahu (50), Lakshman (17), and Hemendra (10).
More than 20 individuals sustained injuries, with six admitted to the Damoh district hospital, police said. In response to the tragedy, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed his condolences and announced financial aid of Rs 2 lakh for the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 for the injured.
