Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) has declared an impressive revenue of Rs 70 crore for August, a 37.5% increase from the Rs 51 crore recorded in August of the previous year.

This substantial growth, which is also higher than August 2022's Rs 58 crore, is owing to diligent monitoring of revenue targets, strategic route rationalization, and persistent operational efforts despite monsoon-induced route disruptions.

The corporation also stated that the revenue boost has enabled timely payments to suppliers and salary commitments, facilitated by new ticket and inventory management systems, projecting a potential reach of Rs 80 crore above last year's figures.
