On a radiant afternoon, the Ashiana Children's Home in Panchkula became a hub of joy as volunteers from the International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) and Shubham Handloom arrived, bringing excitement and warmth to the children. The event commenced at 4:00 PM on August 27, 2024, led by Shubham Manchanda and powered by a collective spirit of compassion.

The volunteer team included Sumit Bhanj, Jyotika Budhiraja, Daman Singh, Abhinav Gupta, Abhishek Bhutteh, Vikas Kumar, Vibhor Aggarwal, Manveet Kaur, Jasdeep Bitta, Kunal Singla, and Vijay Pratap Singh Rana, infusing the home with vibrant energy. Guided by Sonia Sharma, the volunteers presented the 50 underprivileged children with new backpacks, stainless steel water bottles, geometry boxes, books, and crayons. Additionally, essential supplies like cooking oil, rice, and wheat were provided to meet their daily needs.

The atmosphere was electric as children's performances kicked off the day, showcasing their enthusiasm for education and the IYDF mission. A lively coloring competition followed, where the children drew their dreams for the future. Indoor and outdoor activities, including football passing and sit-stand number games, amplified the excitement, with winners emerging from the competitions.

Reflecting on the day's success, Shubham Manchanda said, 'We are incredibly grateful to the International Youth Development Foundation for enabling us to support these underprivileged students. The smiles on their faces brought immense satisfaction to us all.' This collaboration between IYDF and Shubham Handloom provided not just material support but also an emotional boost, lighting up the children's futures with newfound hope.
