On September 3, 2024, the International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) partnered with Arun Tent House to host a heartwarming charity event at Kalyanpur Prathmik Vidyalay in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The initiative aimed to provide essential resources and educational support to 60 underprivileged children.
The event included the distribution of sports equipment, school supplies, and food items, largely thanks to the dedicated efforts of volunteers led by Vishal Kumar, IYDF's regional partner in India. Items such as basketballs, badminton equipment, drawing books, pencil boxes, crayons, fruits, juice, and samosas were given away, aiming to present the children with extracurricular opportunities while conveying a message of societal care and support.
During the event, children participated in a drawing competition, singing performances, and various sports activities, creating an atmosphere of joy and excitement. Jyotsna Mishra, the school's principal, expressed deep gratitude to IYDF and Arun Tent House for their generous contributions.
